There are several events and phenomenon unfathomable to science till date. This article is the tip of the iceberg called – Clairvoyance.
What is Clairvoyance ?
The term Clairvoyance is a French word . Clair means clear and voyance means vision. A person with this ability is called a clairvoyant. He understands about an object, place , situation or an event without the help of his sensory organs.
Though the scientific community calls clairvoyance as a pseudo-scientific phenomenon, a branch of psychology , called parapsychology deals with this subject. There is no scientific theory yet explaining this phenomenon.
Types of Clairvoyance :
There are two types of clairvoyance. They are :
I ) Positive Clairvoyance : Here the person can see at his will in to his inner world and can master his activities. He is trained in it and lives a pure and helpful life. It is also called voluntary Clairvoyance.
ii) Negative Clairvoyance : Here the person has visions of his inner world and has no control over them. This type of clairvoyance is dangerous and the person feels helpless before notions unfathomable to him.
The Pineal Gland – Our third eye ?
• Our brain has two small organs called , the pituitary body and the pineal gland.
• Medical science knows very little about them.
• The pineal gland is called as “the atrophied third eye” , though the pituitary body and the pineal gland are neither evolving nor are degenerating. They are dormant.
• Nature do not allow any organ to exist if it is of no use. All the organs in our body either evolve with time or perish . So, it is very perplexing for the scientists to find a dormant organ like the pineal gland to exist in our body.
Is there any relationship between this strange organ of our body – the pineal gland and the equally strange phenomenon – Clairvoyance ?
Well, we never know. Because reality is always stranger than fiction !!!
