Celtic Mythology is the religion of ‘Iron Age Celts’. People of iron age unlike others also maintained a polytheistic mythology and structured religion. They were war loving people who had well described script and qualified and distinguished professionals in their society. They have faith in God and also have spiritual believes. That is why Elves and fairies like creatures are present in their folklore.

Elves In Celtic Mythology:

‘Elves’ are the Celtic Mythology Creatures their description is found in their folklore. According to this mythology Elves are the keepers of nature and balance in nature. There are different types of elves like- wood elves, sun elves, moon elves etc.

There is a description that says that ‘Elves were short or tiny ‘ and can be seen as benevolent when pleased. So they would care for the house, during chores in night . if they were offended they were malevolent, disrupting the house hold.
