The free software available online with the best features everyone looks for is Jagannatha Hora – Vedic Astrology Software. P.V.R. Narasimha Rao, a graduate in engineering from IIT-Chennai, a top engineering institute of India, designed this software. He is a Sanskrit scholar and a Jyotish Guru at Sri Jagannath Centre.

- Computes all the divisional charts including Rasi chart and Navamsa chart.

- Shows Arudha padas of all the houses in ALL the 20 divisional charts
- Computes Ashtakavarga and sodhya pindas
- Gives the details of Vimsottari dasa up to pratyantardasas
- Also, gives other dasa details like Ashtottari dasa, Kalachakra dasa and Narayana dasa
- Annual horoscopy [Tajaka varsha system]
- Gives charts in Prasna mode with prasna lagna obtained from a number between 1 and 108
- Panchanga of a day with all the details like tithi, nakshatra, yoga, karana, horas, Rahu kalam etc
- Select the ayanamsa you prefer for calculation from Lahiri Ayanmasa, KP Ayanamsa, Raman Ayanamsa etc.

I am a novice in the field of Astrology(South Indian School). I happened to see the Jagannatha hora 7.0 s/w. Its in fact a yeoman service by Sh. Narasimha rao to have this s/w in public domain free.
There should be a text file too to explain people like me about various technical issues present in the Horoscope. There are certain points in a Horoscope when generated by the s/w, one needs guidance.
The S/w should not be like a Mobile phone which everyone of us uses to communicate. But internally a mobile phone has a number of other usage add ons which are never taught by any one(except the manual). Still its used for communication only.
Can Sh.narasimha Rao provide this or advise how to go about.
